Meet the humans (and dog) who are dedicated to providing your pet with the highest standard of care. Bringing on passionate, loving, and professional caretakers is of the highest importance when growing our team. Each professional is picked and trained personally by Devon to be sure each client receives the same standard of care, no matter which team member visits them!
Devon Padley
she/her
Devon is the founder and owner/operator of Devon‘s Pet Care Co. She attended the Atlantic Acting School in New York City where she began freelancing for a pet sitting app. Upon her return home to Dover, she continued expanding her business until eventually parting ways with the app and working independently. She continues to write and act, having produced, written, and starred in two original short films. Her latest project, Dara, is a dramatization of her life as a pet care business owner! She is also on the Marketing Committee of NAPPS (the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters). In addition to running the pet care company, Devon can be seen in theatrical performances throughout southern New Hampshire, but enjoys nothing more than a chill night at home with her dog Gemma.
Gemma Padley

Gemma is the Vice President at Devon's Pet Care Co. At 16 weeks old, she found herself on a bus from Arkansas to Massachusetts and lived with a foster family for three weeks until she was picked up by Devon. They spent their very first day together at the Apple Harvest Day Festival in Dover, NH, and it was then, watching how Gemma interacted with a new environment, new people, and new pups, that Devon knew that Gemma would be the perfect addition to her staff. After a 1 1/2 year probation period, Gemma was finally signed on as a full-time employee. When she is not doing drop ins or walks with clients, she enjoys sleeping on the floor or sitting a little more than an arms length away from whoever she’s hanging out with.

Ry is the definition of jack of all trades. From archaeologist to cafe owner, para-educator, bartender, and beyond, their love for animals has stayed constant through every chapter of life. Growing up with cats and caring for neighbors’ dogs of all sizes – from tiny Pomeranians to large English Mastiffs – they quickly realized they were happiest around animals. While they don’t currently live with any four-legged animals, they occasionally help take care of their friend’s snake. If they aren’t preoccupied with one of their many life pivots, you can usually find them chasing sunshine, writing poetry, powerlifting, or sipping an iced coffee somewhere in town. They are so excited to join this incredible team and meet your pets!
Natalie N.

Natalie is a Marine Science graduate from UMaine whose love for creatures doesn’t stop with the sea. She’s grown up surrounded by pets of all sizes and personalities. Some of the early pets included dogs and cats. Sierra and Patrick were mixed breed dogs and Mystic and Maddie were cats. She now lives with a lovely old dog named Salem, 4 crazy cats. When she isn’t dog walking, you can usually find her volunteering at Joppa Flatts, a Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary or making jewelry to sell at markets. She’s so excited to meet and care for all the new dogs, cats and whatever other animals come her way!
