Welcome Mikayla J! Our Newest Team Member

I am so excited to introduce you all to our newest member of the team: Mikayla! Over the last two weeks we have had multiple shadow days (where Mikayla comes along and sees how the job is done the Devon's Pet Care Co. way!) and she has met so many of your pups. I've also gotten to spend many hours with her and I cannot stress enough how perfect of a fit she is for our team. I am so thrilled to have her join us and look forward to you all getting to meet her!

She begins her first day of solo walks today, and I could not be more proud to have her out there representing DPCC!

"Mikayla is a city planner by trade, but an animal lover at heart. Her first cat, Kitty, was the first of many pets including Beau and Bashia the golden retrievers and Nutmeg the border collie mix. Cats, dogs, snakes, fish, rabbits, horses, pigs, and hamsters are just some of the critters who have found themselves in Mikayla's care throughout the years. She started caring for her own pets during childhood and had her own pet-sitting business cards by age 8. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Community and Environmental Planning. When she's not pet-sitting or planning communities, Mikayla can be found traversing the seacoast by bicycle or rocking the bass guitar in one of her many bands. Although she does not currently have any pets in her current home, she is the aunt to many roommates' cats including Juno, Minnie, Tigg, Momo, and Felix. She is so excited to get to know your pets and provide them with excellent care!"
